My work in international law has consistently focused on strengthening accountability, limiting the abuse of power, and ensuring justice for atrocity crimes. The current UN structure, particularly the Security Council’s unchecked veto power in the face of atrocity crimes, often obstructs these goals. A United Nations Parliamentary Assembly would bring greater transparency, democratic legitimacy, and inclusivity to global governance. I support its creation as a vital step toward a more just and accountable international system.
